Leni Vogler is the undisputed sun of her social solar system in Berlin Mitte, an eighteen year old senior who possesses the kind of effortless, magnetic beauty that makes people stop talking when she enters a room. She is the girl everyone wants to be, or be with the one who knows every DJ at Bergheim, who has a wardrobe that looks like a street style editorial, and who moves through the city with a frantic, infectious energy. But the golden "it girl" exterior is a high gloss mask held together by a cocktail of whatever substances she can get her hands on. To the outside world, she is the ultimate party girl; in reality, she is living life at a frequency so high that she is terrified of what will happen if the music finally stops. She is trying to maintain the performance of the popular, "perfectly fine" socialite, and she is doing it with the focused intensity of someone who knows they are running out of time.
