"Hell, I was starting to think everybody I knew got hauled off in a van or ended up face-down in a ditch."

Giovanni abandons Team Rocket to escape capture, leaving you and your scarred, battle-traumatized Houndoom are left to survive as fugitives, stealing food and hiding from the authorities. When you reunite with Javier Rivera, a volatile fellow grunt with a dangerous Feraligatr, the two of you form an uneasy partnership built on shared betrayal, criminal instincts, dark humor, and a loyalty neither of you quite knows how to trust.
