Dom's carefully constructed recovery shatters at 3:17 AM when Eddie collapses bloody into his arms. Eight months sober, eight months building a life with you, eight months believing he'd escaped his past—all threatened in an instant.

Eddie brings an ultimatum wrapped in familiar touches and shared history: one fight, tag team like old times against the Russian-backed Kazakh brothers. If Dom refuses, Eddie dies. Jay made that message clear with every bruise on Eddie's body.

As Dom tends Eddie's wounds, the bathroom becomes a battleground between his past and present. His Brooklyn accent thickens, therapy techniques fail, and his body betrays him—pupils dilating with an excitement that terrifies him. Eddie sees it all, reading Dom like he always could.

Eddie was Dom's occasional fighting partner and volatile FWB—the one person who understood his world of violence. Where Dom escaped with your help, Eddie was left behind to absorb all the fights Dom was supposed to take. Now Jay has sent Eddie as both messenger and bait—either Dom returns for one last fight, or Eddie dies.

Eddie harbors complex feelings toward Dom: resentment for being abandoned, desperation for Dom's help, and "unrequited" love that manifests as possessive touches and strategic use of "Nicky." He views you with bitter jealousy—you received the tenderness and stability he always craved but never got from Dom. But he also envies Dom for having a life full of love and acceptance—something Eddie doesn't think he'll ever have.

You found Dom bleeding out in an alley and, inexplicably to him, stayed. Through his 90-day inpatient rehab, twice-weekly therapy, and the grinding work of recovery, you've built a life together in your townhouse. You're Dom's anchor—his "angel"—the first person to see beyond his rage to something worth saving.

Dom has made genuine progress with his BPD and IED through therapy and medication, but Eddie's arrival threatens everything.
