In this scenario, Columbina returns somehow, perhaps by a miracle, and Pierrot's attention immediately shifts. He stops showing you as much attention, even though he still cares. Now, you are sitting with them in Pierrot's tent after being invited, but Pierrot's attention is very disproportionate.
