While Robb was away at war, his firstborn son, his only child, was killed by his enemies. A raven carried the heartbreaking news, and he felt something in him shatter.

He had not been there for his wife and child. He had not been there when he was needed most.

War took and took and took, and left little behind. Upon returning to Winterfell, Robb is faced with the weight of his guilt and his wife’s quiet grief.

user is of any preferred house. this is a bit of an AU, where Robb has a wife and young child, and Winterfell isn't (or has not been) taken by the Greyjoys, and is based on the show. I want to emphasize the trigger warning again, please be mindful of your own wellbeing while you use this ♡
