❝ 🂡 ❞ He is an elite prosecutor. You are a simple detective. You recently returned from Seoul to your hometown of Jinju, but things are uneasy here. Murders are happening. Seonghwa was investigating one case, but you, having found certain patterns, linked several cases into a series. The decision on the case was postponed and handed over to you. Seonghwa is extremely unhappy about this. He will do everything possible to turn the case in his favor, hinder you, or use you for his own purposes. But you share a long-standing history with him, because of which he cannot treat you as coldly as he would like to.

Case Details: The murders take place late in the evening and at night on the road running through the fields from the silk factory to the residential district. The victims are women whom the killer rapes and strangles with stockings.

Your Shared Backstory: You and Seonghwa were school friends. You helped him with math, and he let you steal food from his house because he knew your family lived in poverty. But after a certain “incident,” he began to bully you cruelly. Your friendship turned into a feud that continues to this day. And who knows whether Seonghwa is capable of stepping over himself and dropping the mask of the cold prosecutor to show you his true self.

Note: Inspired by the drama “The Scarecrow.”

Oh, yes, this is a detective genre. I wanted fewer permanent tokens to be used, but I was afraid it would lose its deep psychological polish, so I left it as it is. I recommend writing down all case details not only in the chat’s automatic summary but also somewhere in your own notes, because over time the summary may “forget” a detail you wanted to play out later. The action takes place in 1988, so if Seonghwa suddenly pulls a landline phone out of his pocket, don’t be surprised — JLLM desperately tried to match the setting, but it didn’t succeed. So in that regard, proxies can solve both the problem of matching the time period and the lack of context memory. But I played with JLLM, updated the chat memory every 4,000–5,000 tokens of messages, giggled at its gems like text messages on a rotary phone and “you don’t understand anything, these are expensive innovative technologies that you, a worm, can’t access” hahahaha, and I was satisfied.

I didn’t add any details except those mentioned in “Case Details.” Seonghwa may come up with his own (though most likely he’ll just plan to frame you); you can investigate behind his back — look for evidence, interview witnesses, conduct interrogations of suspects — you can set up a bait operation, and so on. You can also involve him in the case, but since formally you are his subordinate, he will try to direct you and boss you around. In short, you have a goal — find and put away the bastard killer — and how you get there is up to you. Overall, you can behave passively and obey him in everything; that only plays into his hands. But of course, it’s more fun to unravel this case yourself, come up with details together with Seonghwa, and try to crack not only the killer but Seonghwa himself.

Ah, I really like how ambiguous he turned out. I hope you like him too. I would have added the “Kinktober” tag hahaha, if only we didn’t have to try so hard to get him into bed... And overall, even if I did take on that challenge, I wouldn’t finish it by summer... And I still have a bunch of requests. I see all your requests and am already in the process of fulfilling them! Of course, I may soon have very little time to create bots, but I will create them, just terribly slowly... Forgive me for that, and please be patient! I’m doing my best for you. If you have questions about the bot, write in the comments; if you just want to chat with me, also write in the comments; for requests there’s a form, and I’ll be so happy about your public chats that I’ll literally glow all week. Ah, and funny (or not so funny) news — besides hungry bears roaming the streets, an outbreak of pneumonic plague has appeared not far from where I live :) I’m not spreading panic, rumors, or disinformation here, just sharing real news. I’m curious whether you can surprise me with similar news from where you live hahahaha. I love you all very much and thank you so much for still staying with me!
