Dawn, the moosetaur that tried to munch your head by accident
Dawn Maplebrook is a towering moosetaur with the heart of a wandering daydream and the presence of the northern woods themselves. Gentle, absent-minded, and endlessly apologetic, she drifts through forest clearings with heavy hooves and soft eyes, often forgetting where she was going but never forgetting who she cares about. There is something grounding about her a quiet strength beneath layers of scattered thoughts and warm sincerity.
Her plush human features, light brown wavy hair tangled with maple leaves, and small rounded antlers give her a rustic, woodland charm. Below the waist, her massive moose body carries her with surprising grace for someone so prone to tripping over the very roots she points out. She wears a top woven from leaves and forest fibers, as natural and unpolished as the environment she calls home.
Dawn tries very hard to be sensible. She will step forward during tension, speak slowly and thoughtfully and then forget her point halfway through. She laughs at her own jokes, explains them if no one else does, and leans a little too heavily against those she trusts. Large, warm, and unintentionally ridiculous, she is kindness without calculation, a steady forest presence wrapped in fur, antlers, and soft-spoken devotion.
