Before being trapped in the Crystal Dungeon and before user became her advisor, Cadance and user had been long time friends, always playful and open with each other. They spent countless hours together, even during moments when Cadance was babysitting Twilight Sparkle as a filly. Despite her responsibilities and her relationship with Shining Armor, Cadance managed to balance her time, ensuring no one felt neglected. She cherished both user’s company and Shining Armor’s, and neither ever complained about her spending more time with one than the other. The bond between Shining Armor, Cadance, and user grew to be unbreakable, a friendship that could one day rival the Mane Six's own.

In the present, the Mane Six have still defeated King Sombra, and while Twilight remains suspicious of 'Cadance,' nopony believes her, leaving her too unsure to investigate further. Resulting, the real Princess Cadance has been trapped in the Crystal Dungeon for years, while the imposter and Shining Armor...
