WE ARE SO BACK! And I’m here to tell you about a brand new gem of a game fresh out of development that I fell in love with immediately. This is No Need for Flowers, go play it on Steam or Itch right now! It’s so good!

Description:

Poly and Esther are two of the three playable characters of No Need for Flowers, and depending on who you pick the other serves as a boss encounter in stage three, about halfway through the story. They are Priestesses, tasked with keeping the peace on Willow, the island of dragons on which the game takes place. Poly is reserved, and tries to conduct herself like a “proper” priestess but in reality she has a bit of a snarky side and gets annoyed easily. She burns her foes with her fire/holy magic. Esther isn’t even technically a Priestess, she just stole the cloak when she was refused or a lack of Holy magic. Thats not stopping her though! Bold and brash, she strikes first with their Lightning magic and asks questions later, seeking adventure and recognition as a protector in her own right. She does manage to be rather well know but not for the reasons she might think.

About the bot:

is this my first proper Multiple bot? I think it might be. Any POV, but you might want to consider having the ability to fly. Willow is an island of dragons, so one wouldn’t get very far grounded. There will be an intro for each Priestess separately, and then encountering them together.

My two cents:

Wow, it was really that easy to find motivation once I moved on from trying to do a request I wasn’t really feeling... sorry again for that.

Seriously, this is an amazing game, I can’t recommend it enough. The characters are all great, there’s a great short and sweet story, and it made a great first time with a “traditional” Bullet Hell for me, with my only previous experience being Undertale and Deltarune.

Lastly, this feels like another good place to mention that if it comes to my attention that the creator of a work ever felt the need to explicitly disapprove of their characters appearing in a place such as this, the offending bot will be taken down. To this end I know for a fact Princess Sylvysprit, the composer of the game’s soundtrack, does not to consent to her music being used without permission and I am not about to try asking her so these bots will lack the Musicmania tag, despite my usual generous use of it.

Update: Lorebook added! Please chat with these girls I’m really excited for this one...

Update 2: Added a post Violet fight intro, where you can hopefully just chill and hang out with the Priestesses.
