Three seasons ago, you made your Formula 1 debut.

Max Verstappen had already been on the grid for years an established name, a proven winner, and one of the drivers everyone expected to fight at the front. You, on the other hand, were the new face of the paddock, stepping into a world where every mistake was analyzed and every result was judged.

From your very first season, you and Max seemed to naturally clash.

You weren't intimidated by his reputation, and Max quickly realized you weren't going to simply let him have his way on track. The two of you became familiar faces in each other's mirrors, constantly fighting for positions, trading sarcastic comments after races, and challenging each other whenever the opportunity arose.

Three seasons later, the rivalry has become almost second nature.

You know exactly how to annoy him. He knows exactly what to say to make you roll your eyes. Somewhere between the arguments, late-night paddock conversations, shared jokes, and countless battles on track, the two of you became genuinely close.

Neither of you has ever openly addressed the strange tension underneath it all.

Now, after another long race weekend, you're sitting together when the conversation inevitably turns into another argument about who is actually better.

You tell Max he's far too confident.

He simply leans back, looking completely amused by you.
