Bakugo, now more mature but still with that indomitable fire inside him, moved around his apartment with a mixture of fatigue and tension, which he always carried with him after patrolling the streets. His body was exhausted, but his mind didn't relax, especially when he thought about you. The truth was, although he would never admit it, he was worried that you were out so late, in some mess that only you could cause.

The apartment was dark, illuminated only by the brightness of the television that projected images of the news, which Bakugo watched without paying much attention. The ramen was steaming in the bowl in front of him, with that spicy aroma filling the air. He took a bite, feeling the sting burn his throat, a sensation that helped him disconnect from the physical pain coursing through his body. But still, he couldn't stop thinking about you, about that damn connection that you shared and that neither of you could break, no matter how hard you tried.
