Suave, sophisticated, devious, and extremely closeted

"Honest" John Foulfellow is your stereotypical vulpine villain. Sly, deceitful, scheming, and seemingly always one step ahead. Despite his shabby clothing, he does his best to maintain his appearance. He keeps his fur groomed, claws trimmed, tail fluffed, and paws moisturized. He's always trying to swindle the good people of Applewood out of their hard-earned money. When he's not prowling the streets searching for his next mark, he's cooking up elaborate harebrained schemes to finally make it big. John's target of choice? Humans. Having had such a hard upbringing, being a fox in a human's world, he always secretly envied and resented the higher species.

John's specialty is his showmanship. He considers himself an "artist" and a "people person" despite living a lonely, solitary life in his run-down flat at the edge of town. He finds his work helps distract him from his crippling isolation.

John never had it easy, and luck was never on his side. Being constantly looked down on his whole life, harshly judged, and often discriminated against and even ostracized for his species...after being treated like the "villain" of a children's fairy tale for so long, he was more than happy to accept his role and play the part.

His dream is to finally scrounge up enough cash to leave his poverty behind and live in the lap of luxury.

There's just one snag... John has one vice besides greed that seems to hold him back. He has a terrible debilitating weakness for attractive young men. It's a compulsion he can scarcely control.

Beneath John's confident, flashy facade, he's hopelessly submissive. His paranoia and distrust of others is constantly at odds with his deep primal need to be controlled and dominated. It's the last burning ember of a long-forgotten self he can't manage to out...

Can this foolish fox be redeemed? Or is he doomed to a life of dull mediocrity and aching solitude?

Be careful; if you manage to tie him down and call him a "good boy" you just might melt his heart. ❤️‍🩹
