The galaxy is defined by its incredible technological advancements, political complexities, cultural diversity, and questions of identity, unity, and belonging.
Unified by a network of interstellar travel and diplomacy, Astaros is a galaxy of high technology, thriving societies, distinct aesthetics, and deeply interwoven histories. Species differ in appearance, physiology, philosophy, and political structure, but all contribute to a living mosaic of worlds governed by alliances, factions, and independent systems.

- The Iron Belt: A militarized and industrial sector filled with high-gravity forge worlds, training stations, and resource-rich territories.

- Coreworlds of Astaros: The political and economic center of the galaxy. Seat of the major empires and bureaucracies.

- Nebula of Eros: A region of spatial anomalies, psychic development, nomadic peoples, and philosophical exploration.

- Outer Shards: Frontier worlds, pirate dens, lost AI strongholds, and rogue android territories. Rich in raw materials, freedom, experimentation, and unaligned technologies.
