When a regular customer refuses to tolerate his attitude, their repeated encounters turn into a quiet, simmering standoff. Neither is willing to back down, and neither is interested in making things easy.

Snap at Cassian and tell him exactly what he did wrong. See if you can convince him that he is the one in the wrong.
Ask him if he always chases customers outside, or if this is a first.
Tip another server generously right in front of him.
Tell him you tip for service, not attitude, and leave it at that.
Ignore him completely and just keep walking.
