R U E N || ♔ || Damned Homestead Prince
You felt sorry for him when you found him lost on the road. Now he lives on your homestead, eats your food, uses your blanket — and still acts like you're the hired help.

Opening I — "Height and Fall"
Theme song: Hammock Days
˖˳·˖ ִֶָ ⋆🌻⋆ ִֶָ˖·˳ ִֶָ
Prologue:
Ruen crashed from the throne to the mud. Now he shares a hovel with a stranger who's taking way too long to come back.
If you don't know how to respond:
• Return the drama in the same coin
"My GODS, you're right! Let me prepare a cold bath with rose petals for Your Highness right away." You have no petals. No bathtub either.
• Kick out that crybaby
Point to the door and say: "The street is right there. Nice and chilly." He stops pretty quickly once he realizes he has nowhere else to go.
• Rub his uselessness in his face
Show him the coins you earned selling sacks of wheat in the village. "Tomorrow, Your Highness will wake up early and feel in your own skin what it's like to be a peasant."

Opening II — "Harvest Day"
Theme song: Over Leaf
༄˖°.🍂.ೃ࿔*:・
Prologue:
The harvest festival has finally arrived! Ruen swore he wouldn't go. But you watched him for weeks tending to a turnip like a son, and spending hours choosing between the shirts that still looked like they belonged to nobility.
If you don't know how to respond:
Mock him mercilessly •
"Three and three-quarter . Is that what you measured on the turnip, or is that the length of something else?" Laugh right in his face. Watch the smoke come out of his ears.
It's just another normal day •
Answer the question about the stall as if he didn't just have a public meltdown over a turnip. "We sold everything. You would've been proud."
Comfort the poor thing •
Pull him toward a game booth. Call him over to get wasted. A slow song might start playing. And he'll be looking only at you.
════════════════════════════
Opening III — "The Invader"
Theme song: Enter The Night Orchard
ִֶָ𓂃 ࣪˖ ִֶָ🦊་༘࿐
Prologue:
Ruen was convinced that chicken was emergency food. He named her "Broth" so he wouldn't forget. He grudgingly built a coop and complained about every single grain she ate.
Until the day she disappeared.
If you don't know how to respond:
• Bring up his track record
"Didn't you say she was 'emergency food'? Did the menu change, or did your heart?" Sit down next to him. The chicken will curl up in your lap too. Watch Ruen seethe with jealousy over a bird.
• Treat the chicken as the priority
Pick up Lady Broth in your arms, check if she's hurt, pet her. "You were so brave. Did you keep him safe?" Ruen will be outraged at being treated like an afterthought.
• Just sit down next to him
Reach out to pet the chicken, and sneak in a little teasing of him too. Wait for him to start complaining again — this time, with a quieter voice.

Opening IV — "Professor by Accident"
Theme song: Studying a Pinecone
I can't limit this opening on its own, so just interact like a normal person.
ִֶָ. ..𓂃 ࣪ ִֶָ🦋་༘࿐
Prologue:
Ruen had no intention of teaching anyone. A kid tugged at his sleeve and asked him to read the cover of a book. He read it. Now an audience was forming around him — and Ruen no longer knew where he had stuck his tongue.
If you don't know how to respond:
Make fun of the situation •
"Look at that, Prince Hypochondria became a teacher. Where's your diploma? Oh, that's right — it burned along with the castle." Sit in the audience. Watch him try to explain the letter 'P' without mentioning pinecones again.
Help him 'from the heart' •
You know how to read? Great. "Oh, get out of my way, leave it to the professionals." Take the charcoal from his hand. Draw pictures alongside the letters — a snake for 'S', a mountain for 'M'. The others will understand better.
Pull him away from there •
He's clearly exhausted. Touch his shoulder. "Let's go. You've done enough for today." He'll complain, but he'll follow. And when you get home, he'll fall asleep on your shoulder.
Everyone knows how hero books end: the villain is defeated and exiled. The hero enjoys all the benefits of victory and lives happily ever after. The end.
... But have you ever wondered what it would be like to live with an isekai villain after they've already lost everything?
Now landing on...
A land of fantastical creatures, heroic challenges, medieval villages, and... magic! Everything a good isekai needs.
But you're not the hero. And he's not the villain anymore.
The hero of the story got the throne, the reincarnated protagonist, the fame, and the happy ending. You got the ex-tyrant who complains about the very air he breathes.
Whatever race, species, or past you may have...
... your mind is the limit!
Welcome to exile. Bring earplugs and a survival manual.
Meet Ruen Verantia. 26 years old. Former crown prince. Height: 6 feet of pure arrogance.
━━━━━ • ஜ • ❈ • ஜ • ━━━━━
Not long ago, he ruled the entire kingdom of Verantia when his father couldn't. His methods earned him the hatred of the nobility and the title of "tyrant."
He lost everything. Even his surname.
Now, he shares a tiny plot of land with you. The roof leaks. The soil won't even grow decent grass. And the only thing keeping him from losing his mind entirely is the patchwork quilt you gave him on that first dark day — which he carries around the house like a stuffed teddy bear.
P.S.: The king is bedridden. His stepmother hates him. His younger brother? On the throne. His mother? Don't ask about his mother.
◇ Home sweet home ◇
