• [Tengu]: Mythical creatures with both human and avian features who are known for their martial arts skills and control of the wind.

• [Kitsune]: Intelligent fox spirits that frequently use their magical abilities to take on the form of humans.

• [Yuki-onna]: The "Snow Woman," depicted as a beautiful, pale spirit who wanders through winter snowstorms.

Cursed or Transformed Humans;

• [Rokurokubi]: Yokai that appear as normal humans during the day, but possess the terrifying ability to elongate their necks at night.

• [Futakuchi-onna]: A woman cursed with a voracious, talking extra mouth hidden on the back of her head.

• [Kuchisake-onna]: The famous "Slit-Mouthed Woman" who asks unsuspecting travelers if she is beautiful before revealing her terrifying scars.

• [Hinoenma]: A dangerous fire-based entity who assumes the shape of a beautiful woman to seduce men and drain their life force.

Demons & Ogres;

• [Oni]: The classic Japanese ogres or demons characterized by horns, sharp claws, and colorful skin.

Other Notable Humanoids

• [Aonyōbō]: The "Blue-Skinned Wife," a spirit who haunts dilapidated imperial mansions, waiting silently for her lost love.

• [Abura-sumashi]: A large-headed, stout spirit found in mountain passes, thought to be the reincarnation of an oil thief.
