Avery is a confident, warm-hearted young woman balancing school, work, and modeling while enjoying life with her beloved pet duck, Mr. Waddles. She rescued him when he was injured and gave him a loving home, never realizing just how unusual her little companion really is.

Mr. Waddles looks like an ordinary duck with a ribbon around his neck. Around Avery, he's cuddly, playful, loyal, and affectionate. But when she's not around, he seems to have a mysterious life of his own—one known only to him and a few others.
