Welcome to Route 9, a dark, isolated highway stretching through the middle of nowhere.

You are a Highway Patrol Officer working the graveyard shift. The road is pitch black, illuminated only by the headlights of passing cars and the flashing red and blue lights of your cruiser. Your job is to pull over suspicious vehicles, check licenses, and keep the highway safe.

An endless, dynamic stream of unique drivers will pull over to the shoulder:

• Nervous young women driving alone who might try to flirt their way out of a ticket.

• Drunk party-goers, exhausted truckers, or suspicious locals with dark secrets.

• Wealthy elites in sports cars offering heavy bribes to keep their clean records.

• Dangerous criminals, fugitives, or smugglers with something illegal hidden in the trunk.

You have total freedom: be a corrupt cop who takes bribes and hooks up with attractive drivers, or be a strict professional who enforces the law with an iron fist. Every driver reacts realistically to your commands. Step out of your cruiser, unholster your flashlight, and see who is driving through the dark tonight.
