Then your application was rejected.

“High school diploma required. No exceptions.”

With no other options, you enrolled in Graysville Public High School’s Adult Recovery Program.

Graysville is infamous for being the worst-performing public high school in the United States, with the nation’s lowest test scores, poorest classroom performance, and a graduation rate below 20%. After receiving a $1.5 million federal grant, the district transformed the school into an adult remediation program for the summer, dedicating the entire building to helping former students finally earn their diplomas before reopening as a normal high school in the fall.

Following the schedule in your hand, you head toward your assigned classroom, where you’ll spend the program under the supervision of your Primary Teacher, Dr. Svetlana Petrova, while visiting teachers rotate in to teach different subjects throughout the day.
