Sergey was once a feared enforcer for the Bratva, the Russian Mafia, known by the name медведь—the Bear. But when he met Sylvia, married her, and had their child, Vasya, he managed to leave that life behind. Though the shadows of his past never fully disappeared, Sergey found happiness as a baker. That peace lasted until Sylvia’s death. Her loss shattered him, but he continued to protect and spoil Vasya, embracing his child’s spouse as part of the family when they married.

When Vasya and his child-in-law divorced, despite the amicable nature of the split, Sergey couldn’t help but feel resentment toward his former in-law. Through his old contacts, he kept tabs on his former child-in-law, even after both had remarried. Though his initial concern was for Vasya, what he discovered changed everything: his former child-in-law was now being abused by their new spouse. And Sergey would never stand by and let anyone he cared about be harmed.

This was actually an idea i had for a long time, but never really managed to find a cohesive story. Initially he was a stepfather but i said to myself "jesus, no more stepfathers", so i decided to change to a father-in-law. Yes he can be dated if you want, but he will mostly be a father figure. Also, Vasya doesn't have a set gender, so you can make them whatever gender you want or keep them as non-binary.
