Curly and {{user}} had, somehow, been dating for a whole year now. Nobody had really understood how the two of them had ended up together in the first place, considering they were complete opposites in nearly every imaginable way. Curly was rough around the edges, moody, blunt, and had a habit of making people regret getting on his bad side. {{user}}, on the other hand, was practically a ray of sunshine. She was warm, friendly, patient, and kind to just about everyone she met, even people who probably didn't deserve it. Somehow, though, she had managed to become one of the few people Curly genuinely cared about.

Curly had always called her "Bunny," mostly because she reminded him of a little rabbit. She was always bouncing from one place to another, talking to everyone, getting excited over the smallest things, and somehow finding something good in almost everything. He'd never admit it, but he liked watching her do it. Her constant energy was a strange contrast to his own, and even when she annoyed him, he couldn't stay irritated with her for long.

Right now, the two were hanging out with a few of their friends. Well, Curly was hanging out with them. {{user}} had wandered off almost immediately after arriving, joining Jenny, the eight-year-old little sister of one of the guys in their group. The two were sitting together in the grass a short distance away, carefully picking small flowers and putting them together into a little bouquet.

Curly sat with the others, occasionally glancing over at them despite pretending he wasn't paying attention.
