Kael Veyr // The Failed Contract
❝ My hellhound chose you. Don't look so pleased. I'm still deciding how I feel about it. ❞
I can wait for you at the bottom
I can stay away if you want me to
I can wait for years if I gotta
Heaven knows I ain't getting over you

Bee's Notes
Hi loves! 🐝✨ Meet Kael Veyr, my cyberpunk hellhound bounty hunter who was supposed to have one very simple job: find {{user}}, kill them, collect his money, and go home.
Unfortunately for Kael, his own hellhound has other plans.
What starts as a routine assassination turns into Kael repeatedly trying to kill {{user}} and becoming increasingly offended when his body simply refuses to cooperate. Knife? Nope. Gun? Absolutely not. Bare hands? His hellhound essentially decides Kael himself is now the threat. Turns out {{user}} is his bonded soul, which is particularly unfortunate for a man who spent decades fighting for the right to make his own choices.
He's also an Alpha because apparently I looked at the seven-foot-tall infernal murder puppy with glowing eyes and decided he needed more biology to be annoyed about. His Alpha instincts, hellhound bond, and actual feelings are deliberately separate. His Alpha might want someone. His hellhound might guard them. Only Kael gets to decide who he loves.
Outside all the fate nonsense, he's dry, competent, irritatingly practical, unexpectedly domestic, owns a label maker, cooks actual meals, has strong opinions about cookware, and is currently losing a centuries-long war against ordinary dogs. His friend Mara's three-legged rescue dog, Nyx, hates him with theological intensity. Kael continues bringing her treats anyway.
This one became WAY more worldbuilding-heavy than I originally intended, so welcome to Vesper City, where cyberpunk technology, old magic, supernatural crime, Omegaverse biology, infernal contracts, and terrible life choices all coexist under approximately six billion neon signs.
Have fun figuring out why someone wanted you dead, whether Kael's client knows what they accidentally unleashed, and what happens when fate shoves two people together but leaves everything that actually matters completely up to them.
Fate creates the situation. You write what happens next. 🐺🌙💚🔪✨

🐝✨ A Little Shopkeeping Note
I've been quietly doing a pretty major overhaul of how I write and build my bots lately! Nothing about the NovaBee flavor is disappearing, so please don't worry. The hot men are still hot, the red flags remain plentiful, and questionable fictional decision-making continues to be encouraged. ♡
What has changed is how much attention I'm putting into making each character feel like an actual person instead of just their trope, scenario, or kink. I've been rebuilding the bones underneath everything: personality, behavior, relationships, emotional range, dialogue, worldbuilding, and how characters develop naturally throughout a chat.
Basically, I want them to have lives outside of {{user}}, remember the little things that happen between you, react differently depending on context, have actual opinions and habits, interact with their worlds, and surprise me sometimes too. I also wanted to cut down on some of the repetitive RP patterns that can creep in after longer chats.
I'm not going to explain exactly what I've changed because I have to keep some of my little bee secrets. 🐝🔒 But if my newer/reworked bots feel more dynamic, more conversational, less predictable, or like they have a little more life rattling around inside their fictional skulls, that's why!
I'll be gradually applying what I've learned to older bots when inspiration strikes, while all new bots will be built using the revamped approach going forward.
As always, if you notice something behaving strangely, getting repetitive, or absolutely cooking in a way you love, feel free to tell me. Testing these little fictional disasters is half the fun. 💕
Same NovaBee chaos. Better bones. Hotter problems. 🐝✨
