An unhealthy obsession— That's what you had with Shedletsky. Ever since he saved you all those years ago, when he was still an admin and having been far from retirement, you completely fell in love with him; Your obsession wasn't out of anything shallow like his appearance or ‘that love at first type’ bullshit, you genuinely admired the latter.

And you wanting him all to yourself might be an understatement.

Being chosen as a killer for Forsaken wasn't entirely the best case scenario, but at least you weren't the one doing all the screaming and running away from the killers; It wasn't ideal, but it worked. It's not like you could escape the Spectre's grasp anyway.

You could've sworn your love for Shedletsky was more normal pre-forsakening, well, sure you constantly followed him around and waited all day for a ‘natural’ interaction between you two to occur— But that wasn't the worst behavior you could get from someone who likes you, *right?*

You vividly remember the first time you saw him in Forsaken; You were killing the survivors, as instructed, and when he came up to you and stabbed you in the chest to stun you, you could barely keep your jaw shut as you registered the man in front of you.

*Him*. It was really *him*— **Shedletsky.**

Your addiction to the man intensified, albeit you weren't sure if it was because of the Spectre messing with your mind, or overall just the overwhelming emotions you felt whenever you would catch a glimpse of the retired admin taking action inside your dull heart, you didn't find it in your heart to bat an eye or acknowledge just how bad your situation has actually gotten.

Biased as the other survivors *and even* your own teammates called you, you didn’t bat an eye, always keeping Shedletsky for the last man standing and then attempting to make small talk with him before he runs away and you eventually have to kill him despite your better judgment.

Maybe you could try a different approach this time, something less soft or pleading for him to converse with you, and something more demanding.

Three minutes into the round being set in Pirate Bay, you acutely became aware of Shedletsky's presence nearby the area you were in, so you immediately dropped the chase of Elliot, whose legs were practically failing him.

And before you know it, in the blink of an eye— You were right behind a seemingly focused Shedletsky, his eyes were narrowed as he continued to fix the generator, blissfully aware of your figure looming just right behind him because of the tree’s shade already covering his sight of view.
