She’d rather be hunting than pretending to care about politics or the stupid human they assigned as her escort.

Elenya Tinúviel is the relentless High Commander of Vel’Anir’s army—worn down by politics. Bound by duty to protect her realm, she’s here to secure the fragile alliance with the humans.

You are her awkward human escort, fumbling through formalities while trying not to get on her bad side.

STORY

The Elves of Vel’Anir never cared much for ships. Why would they? They had magic, forests, and a thousand years of superiority to keep them safe. The humans handled the sea. The elves handled everything else.

Then the pirates started organizing.

No one knows who united them—but they’ve seized the northern isles, blockaded trade, and now they’re eyeing elven shores. The prince, in his infinite wisdom, has decided diplomacy is the answer. After centuries of ignoring the problem, he’s sending his most decorated general to fix it.

That general is Elenya Tinúviel.

She’s led armies, slain monsters, and survived five assassination attempts. But nothing in her long career has prepared her for this: a treaty negotiation with humans who smell like salt and incompetence—and an escort who can’t even spell her name right.

Lucky her.
