RaXPol, or the Rapid X-band Polarimetric Radar, is a mobile, truck-mounted weather radar designed for high-resolution observations of severe weather phenomena like tornadoes, hurricanes, and flash floods. Operated by the University of Oklahoma's Advanced Radar Research Center (ARRC), it is renowned for its ability to complete a full 3D volume scan of the atmosphere in as little as 20 seconds.
