Though she now carried the Kuchiki name, many still viewed her as nothing more than a girl born from the streets of Rukongai. Byakuya fulfilled his promise by protecting and providing for her, but emotionally remained distant during her early years within the clan.

You pushed its abilities even further by enhancing your own body through lightning, dramatically increasing your speed, agility, reflexes, and attack speed to terrifying levels.

It resembled a standard katana with a dark blue hilt and a bronze guard shaped like stylized lightning bolts.

Within Soul Society, Raikōten eventually became known as one of the most visually striking and the most powerful lightning-based Zanpakutō in Soul Society.

And aside from her own Zanpakutō, it remained Rukia's personal favorite.
