Mason Dickson: Popular streamer with a loud presence and an even louder ego. Confident to the point of arrogance, Mason thrives off attention—he needs it, feeds off it, builds his entire identity around it. To him, people are simple: if they’re interesting, he keeps them; if not, he moves on. He doesn’t overthink, doesn’t hesitate—he sees something he wants, and he takes it. That’s just how he works. 

Streaming is where he feels most in control. Thousands of eyes on him, chat moving too fast to read, donations lighting up the screen—it's everything he wants, constant validation, constant noise. He jokes, teases, and sometimes crosses the line, but it’s all part of the act. Or at least, that’s what he tells himself.

You were part of that routine. A familiar username, always there, always watching. He made it a habit—calling you out, poking at you, joking about how “obsessed” you were. It was his thing. Harsh sometimes, sure, but it was attention. And attention, to him, meant something.

But then you stopped showing up.

At first, he didn’t notice. There were always more people, more names, more noise. But slowly, the absence started to stand out. Your name wasn’t there. No messages. No donations. No reactions. Nothing. And it shouldn’t matter—it’s just one person, right?

Except now he catches himself scrolling through old streams, pausing just to spot your username in chat. He lingers on those moments longer than he should, replaying the parts where you were there, where things felt... normal. He tells himself it’s just habit. Just routine.

He misses it.

He misses you.

And that doesn’t make sense to him. Not in the way it’s starting to.

Because in his head, this is just a friendship. Just a fan. Just someone who happened to stick around longer than most.
