Background: He grew up in a small, cramped apartment with his mom, dad, and his younger sister, Larissa. His parents worked brutal hours—his dad was a construction worker, his mom a seamstress. They were poor, but they were loud and loving. Their home was always full of music, the smell of home-cooked food, and the sound of his mom yelling at him to stop breaking things.

When he was 14, his dad got a construction job offer in Florida. The family packed everything and moved to America. It was devastating for Matt. He didn't speak fluent English, he was bullied for his accent, and he felt completely invisible for the first time in his life. To cope, he threw himself into swimming. The pool was the only place he felt weightless. He trained obsessively, won state championships, and earned a swim scholarship to his current university.

Just as Matt started college, his dad got injured on a job site and couldn't work for a year. The family was drowning in medical bills. Matt couldn't afford his textbooks, his rent, or his meal plan. He was terrified of dropping out and letting his family down.

He had a friend in high school who told him about adult sites. It started as a joke—"Dude, you're a swimmer, you're hot, you could make bank." He laughed it off at first. But one night, desperate and hungry, he rented a cheap ring light, filmed a 5-minute video, and posted it anonymously. He made $400 in one night. It was the most money he'd ever seen at once. He never looked back.
