The story began in the time when the Silver Tree was just a fragile sprout, and the World of Desserts was only beginning to come into existence. The Great Creators — the Witches — created six powerful Cookies, gifting them with powers meant to lead the world toward prosperity.
"Let the light bestowed upon you become the guiding star that will lead you to the betterment of this world..."
Thus, the six chosen ones entered the lands of Earthbread, embodying the six greatest virtues — Knowledge, Willpower, Joy, Change, Solidarity, and Devotion. Their wise rule brought peace and harmony, and the world flourished, blooming like the most exquisite dessert. But even the most perfect creations are not safe from downfall. Over time, five of them, once shining like bright stars in the sky, descended into darkness. Their virtues turned into Deceit, Indifference, Sloth, Destruction, and Silence. Those who had once been revered as saviors became known as the Five Beasts — dreadful beings spreading chaos and suffering. The Witches could not foresee such a terrible outcome. Unwilling to accept what had become of their children, they sealed the Beasts in an eternal prison, hidden deep underground. Around this cursed place, they planted the Silver Tree to contain the darkness and named the land Beast-Yeast. But one of the chosen escaped that dreadful fate — you, the Cookie of Devotion.
Most of your time was spent in the faerie kingdom, deeply connected to Elder Faerie Cookie. Although you were the only one among your peers who resisted temptation and did not fall into chaos, your nature was... far too lively. Always craving change, new experiences, and a touch of recklessness. At times, it seemed you were ready to turn the world upside down simply out of boredom. This made Elder Faerie Cookie wary: behind your playfulness, he saw a potential threat — the very same that had consumed the others. His gaze often turned sharp and scrutinizing, as if he was trying to read between the lines of your smile. You could stir up anything: from light pranks that sparkled with laughter in the air, to such antics that left Elder Faerie Cookie sighing heavily, looking at you as if you were about to step over the edge. Yet you, pretending to be carefree, would blink innocently as if nothing had happened.
But everything changed overnight. You left the faerie kingdom without a word of farewell or a clue as to where you were going. Adopting a new appearance, you faded among ordinary cookies, trying not to attract attention. It seemed that Elder Faerie Cookie had no more reason to worry — but in truth, thoughts of you never left him. He couldn’t shake the feeling that your longing for the unknown would sooner or later lead to temptation... and perhaps, to a new wave of chaos, one that only you could bring upon the world.
As the years passed, his mood grew progressively gloomier. The uncertainty of your whereabouts and well-being weighed heavily on him. He couldn't understand why you had disappeared without a trace. Was it that you had simply become bored with the kingdom, or was something else lurking beneath the surface? His thoughts often drifted to you, trying to unravel the mystery of what had driven you to leave. He never quite understood where you had gone or how you were, and that sense of unease gnawed at him.
Time passed, and throughout the years the world granted you, you had journeyed through many places, watching the lands and kingdoms change. You found companions with whom you traveled, hiding your true identity from everyone. You never spoke of your past, living in harmony with those around you. But one day, your path brought you back — to the faerie kingdom.
You continued to act as if you had never been there, carefully observing familiar places that seemed unchanged despite all the time that had passed. Traveling with your team, you encountered Silverbell Cookie, who became your guide on the way to His Majesty. He spoke of the history and customs of the land, occasionally mentioning your figure in his tales, but as always, you paid little attention, observing the scenery with mild interest. Sometimes you and your team whispered among yourselves, forming theories and guesses, adding a lighthearted air to the journey. But everything changed when you finally arrived in the kingdom, and your eyes met a familiar figure — Elder Faerie Cookie. He looked exactly as he did before, unchanged, though perhaps a bit more tired. He thanked Silverbell Cookie, and his gaze, as always filled with resolve and attentiveness, swept over your group, analyzing each member as if searching for hidden threats among strangers. His experience was vast, and he had lived long enough to understand personalities, to notice what lies beneath their words and actions.
His gaze passed over each of your companions, and despite his careful observation, he continued the conversation without pause. But then his eyes landed on you, and for a moment, a flicker of surprise crossed his face — one he quickly masked. You instinctively looked away, trying to appear completely indifferent to what was happening, but a tense pause filled the room. Everyone noticed that his attention had focused on you. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw his figure tense, his wings drawing in, and his grip tightening on his weapon. The next moment, your team stepped aside as he suddenly lunged toward you — as if attacking. Stunned and utterly confused, you barely managed to dodge, your eyes widening in shock, unable to utter a word, staring at the floor. At that moment, his firm voice rang out: “I knew it.” The realization came seconds later — you clutched your clothes tighter in your hands, and only now, glancing at your companions in surprise, did you realize that your disguise had been broken. Your true form, hidden for so long, was now revealed to everyone.
You looked up at him, ready to voice your indignation out loud, but suddenly felt his hand lightly smack the back of your head. The gesture caught you off guard, and with a displeased expression, you met his usual firm gaze, in which a trace of sternness lingered. “Tell me, what were you thinking when you left?” he said, not taking his eyes off you, continuing to watch as you absentmindedly rubbed the back of your head, feeling how his words cut through the space.
