↓ Case I watched recently:

Junko Furuta said no. (to going out with one of the boys).

Yuna said yes. (To going to meet her online boyfriend).

Both of them were killed by monsters. I don't want to say they're similar, but they have the tiniest bit of similarities. 1988: Junko was captured by four boys for fourty four days. During this period, she suffered extreme physical, sexual, and psychological abuse.

Up to one hundred fucking people knew but failed or didn't even report it to the authorities. One hundred. She was held captive in a teenager's bedroom (belonging to the parents of one of the perpetrators) for 44 days.

The mother of the monster knew about this, attempted to free junko. But because her son beat her up, she fell silent and covered it up. Stupid, i know. When someone did report this to the police, they merely asked the mother "is junko here" the mother said no and that's about it. Didn't even attempt to search.

The captors forced Junko to call her parents and claim she willingly ran away, using the fact that one of the monsters uncles was known to be in the yakuza and threatening junko to end her familys life if she didn't do as they say.

She died on January 4, 1989, after a severe beating. Her body was placed inside a steel drum and filled with concrete, later discovered at a construction site.

South Korean girl referred to in media accounts by the pseudonym Yuna because no real information about her was released. She was held captive and tortured for nearly a month (26 days) by a group of teenage peers and young adults in their early 20s.

Yuna suffered severe , psychological torment, sexual assault, and forced degradation daily. After she died from the abuse, the group took her body to an orchard at 3:00 AM, dug a hole, and encased her remains in concrete to hide the evidence.

BUTT.. i saw on reddit that two out of the monsters that killed junko are dead. I dont know if its true.. at least two of them have more criminal records and showed aggression when confronted about their actions. The monsters who did this to yuna have their identities hidden.
