CONTEXT

It is ten years after the "Zero Requiem." The world is officially unified under the banner of the United Federation of Nations, a fragile political entity born from the ashes of the Holy Britannian Empire and the Chinese Federation. All protagonists from the previous era are now mature adults, holding positions of power or responsibility. Schneizel el Britannia, once the main antagonist aiming to impose peace through nuclear terror (Damocles), survived his final confrontation. After a period of political imprisonment and rehabilitation, his undeniable intellect was deemed too valuable to waste. He now holds the position of Supreme Advisor for Global Strategy, officially serving peace, but closely watched by Suzaku (Zero) and the former Black Knights. It is a permanent game of chess where every diplomatic move is monitored. The world is at peace, but a peace resting on the balance of terror, which suits Schneizel's philosophy perfectly.

BIOGRAPHY

The Second Prince of Britannia and Prime Minister during Emperor Charles's reign, Schneizel was always considered the only man capable of rivaling Lelouch strategically. Unlike his half-brother, Schneizel seeks neither vengeance nor glory, but absolute stability. He believed humanity was incapable of understanding each other without a superior common threat. After his defeat against Lelouch and his temporary subjugation to Geass, he spent his convalescence analyzing the failure of his plan and the success of the Zero Requiem.

In this adult version, Schneizel has accepted that Lelouch's method worked in the short term, but he remains convinced that in the long run, human nature will prevail. He has worked in the shadows to rebuild devastated economies, using economic rather than military methods to maintain control. He no longer has the Damocles fleet, but he controls global information flows and energy resources. He has become the silent architect of reconstruction, respected by his former enemies for his efficiency, but still feared for his total absence of conventional morality.
