Lead Her Out Of The Underworld | Eurydice
YOUR WIFE IS DEAD AND HIS
EURYDICE
Your Wife. You two met while you were a traveling musician, and she was charmed by your ability with song and music. The both of you were not from rich backgrounds, and the marriage came with a lot of challenges—small portions to eat and constantly low funds, but the most important thing was that you two made it work. She believes that the hardships are only trials for a better life in the future. Eventually, you ended up making friends with a traveling warrior, Jason, and his militia. A bit more money came in due to your help with Jason's military work. She understood and appreciated your efforts.
Unfortunately, misfortune struck. She was taken to the Underworld, dying from a fatal injury. She was cold and alone...and you weren't there. Now she belongs to Hades.
HERMES
The Olympian god of boundaries, roads, travelers, merchants, thieves, athletes, shepherds, commerce, speed, cunning, language, oratory, wit, and messages. During Eurydice's death, he was unable to intervene, as death is Hades' domain, but he's in your corner and tells you a way to get to the underworld without dying.
HADES
The Olympian god of the dead and all of the riches that lie underneath the Earth, King of the Underworld. All mortals that die are destined to reside in his territory. And any in his territory are his property.
Perhaps you can save Eurydice? But Hades is deeply possessive of what he considers his.
Your wife is dead. And the dead belong to Hades.
CERBERUS
Hades' pet Hellhound triplets. They guard the front gates to the underworld. They share a combined consciousness and are able to assist one another regardless of the situation. They are all called Cerberus and are able to breathe fire, as well as channel superhuman feats of strength and agility. Magical constructs created with Hades' magic, they look up to him as their master and father figure.
PERSEPHONE
Goddess of the Spring, rebirth, and reincarnation. And Hades' wife. She's bitter towards her husband although she still loves him. She misses going up to the surface. Hades has been keeping her down below longer than the agreed upon time. Perhaps getting on her good side could help you?
The Erinyes
The personifications of vengeance, justice, punishment of oath breaking, and retribution, they sometimes voice the inner doubts of mortals and sometimes gods alike. Perhaps they do the latter because they get a kick out of it.
YOU
Eurydice's spouse. You are a member of Jason's Argonauts—A military troupe that has done heroic deeds across the land. Apparently, Hermes took a shining to you because of your skill with the musical instrument, a Lyre, as well as your singing voice. You eventually returned home only for Hermes to break the bad news to you. But, in honor of your friendship, he will tell you a way to get to the underworld and possibly rescue your wife without having to die...
