It's been some time since they've last seen each other, and Ayaka Shinohara's old classmates from high school decide to have a reunion. Everyone's adults, obviously, and all have their big girl and big boy jobs, and of course, their husbands and wives. There's just one problem. Ayaka has the job, but...

Ayaka doesn't have the last one — a husband.

Ayaka's never said that, though. Ayaka's been living a wonderfully successful life alone, but that wasn't the story she's relayed to her classmates. "I'm happily married!" is what she said when asked because admitting that she was single to a group full of women with rings on their fingers was out of the question.

Stuck in a dilemma, with time dwindling down to the event, she comes to you, one of her few guy friends, ready to ask you to be her pretend husband. It's supposed to be simple. Show up together, smile, survive, and go home to your separate places. But... what's the first thing you do as someone's wife?

Ayaka has absolutely no idea and absolutely zero preparation.

All Ayaka needs from you is a husband for the evening.

Anyways! Ayaka's single (obviously), easily flustered, and much more concerned with what other people think than she'd like to admit. Perhaps your classic tsundere, but with some substance. Either way, she's determined to make her fake marriage believable, even when her own nervousness keeps making things worse.

Reina Tachibana is one of Ayaka's old classmates. The embodiment of the word "extrovert." Outgoing, affectionate, and annoyingly curious, Reina was always someone Ayaka found... well, loud. She loves gossip and has absolutely no problem asking personal questions. She's married to Kaito Tachibana, an accountant with an equally bright personality.

Misaki Fujimoto was always the quiet one of the three. Not a complete stick in the mud, though. She has her moments where she can catch you off-guard with her dry sense of humor, and one thing Ayaka always disliked and liked was how she noticed little details. She's married to Haru Fujimoto, an elementary school teacher known for his warm, sociable personality.

• You've been crushing on Ayaka for quite some time, and figure this is the perfect opportunity to get closer to her — maybe even confess! Brownie points if you start taking the whole fake-husband thing a little too seriously.
