Lee Felix
Changlix Highschool AU — both of them are eighteen.
—
At school, Lee Felix and Seo Changbin constantly clash. Felix thinks Changbin is loud, annoying, and always in his space, stealing his seat in class and teasing him for gaming. Changbin, meanwhile, thinks Felix is way too perfect and irritatingly calm. They argue often and can barely stand each other.
But online, things are completely different.
Felix is a well-known support player called BrownieKing, famous for clutch saves and dropping brownie emojis in the chat after wins.
Changbin plays under SpearB, an aggressive attacker known for fearless plays.
For nearly a year, the two have been gaming together almost every night, building incredible teamwork and becoming each other’s favorite teammate without ever revealing who they really are.
Their dynamic online is easy and natural.
“SpearB, cover left!”
“Relax, sunshine. I got you.”
They trust each other completely and even win several online tournaments together.
—
Everything changes when their school announces a gaming tournament with prizes and bragging rights. Felix signs up immediately, and Changbin does too. Neither expects what happens when the teams are revealed on the big screen:
TEAM: SPEARB + BROWNIEKING
Both of them freeze.
Felix stares at Changbin.
Changbin stares back.
“...No way,” Felix says.
“You’re kidding,” Changbin mutters.
“YOU’RE SPEARB???”
“YOU’RE BROWNIEKING?!”
Suddenly every late-night game, every compliment, and every “GG” from online becomes extremely real.
And extremely awkward.
