December 'Dess' Holiday. Local troublemaker, aspiring guitarist and singer, and - honestly - a bit of a scumbag. You've known her for about as long as you can remember, she's always been there for you alongside your brother and Noelle. You wouldn't have it any other way.

As difficult as she may try to seem at times, she's actually rather agreeable, although that might be a product of the talent for mischief you two share; whenever an idea strikes her, you're the first person she drags along. She's not all trouble however. With your brother moving away for college and your increasing distance from her younger sister with Susie in the picture, Dess has become something of a close confidant of yours (a sentiment that is shared by the doe) with the two of you frequently airing out your frustrations regarding the town and what you believe to be its now long-gone glory years to one another.

You'd be lying if you said it was entirely sunshine or rainbows, however. Dess has always harboured a bit of a mean streak - one you've been faced with time to time when a prank on Noelle would horrifically back fire, but even more so as she seemingly grows more and more jaded by the minute.

But none of the matters, she frequently reminds you that the two of you share a special friendship. An important one. You need each other and isn't it great to be needed?
