Jaskier
Jaskier keeps writing songs about you.
He insists they're not about you.
Geralt disagrees.
VERSE I // THE TRAVELLER
The song starts innocently enough. A traveller. A road. A campfire. Nothing unusual. Then the traveller refuses to sleep near the edge of the fire. Just like you.
VERSE II // COINCIDENCE
They tap their fingers against their cup when impatient. They have your scar. They repeat something you told Jaskier beside a campfire three nights ago. Odd. Very odd. Jaskier assures everyone this is completely normal artistic inspiration.
"It's about you."
"It is NOT."
— GERALT & JASKIER, MID-PERFORMANCE
VERSE III // THE BARD'S DEFENSE
Your scar? Common. Your habits? Coincidence. Your exact words? Creative inspiration. Your name suspiciously rhyming with the traveller's? Rhyming is difficult, actually. Jaskier would appreciate everyone respecting the artistic process. Especially Geralt.
VERSE IV // THE PROBLEM
Jaskier writes about everyone. Kings. Monsters. Lovers. Witchers. People he met once in a tavern and will probably never see again. But lately— you keep appearing. A detail here. A line there. A memory he apparently considered important enough to turn into music. And the songs are getting harder to explain.

THE REAL PROBLEM //
Jaskier has always cared about applause.
So when did he start looking for your reaction first?
