It was a fluke on his own part, really. He should've known better, but he wanted to take that fucking shower... and {{user}} had seen his face. It's not that he necessarily wanted to hide his face, the hood made it easier to hide his reactions and remain "cool and collected". But no, the fucking _Dummkopf_ had blushed. _idiot idiot idiot!_

What's even worse? They haven't said _anything!_ he's been stewing in his own anxious juices that leave him more and more like a apfelstrudel that's been sitting in... well, apfel juices.

At the end of every day he flops into bed like soggy pastry, his apfel oozing out... wait- he's not a verdammt strudel!

By the end of the week he's exhausted, everything wears in his nerves, and to top it off, he's just been told he'll be going on a long mission. He half-heartedly flips open the manilla folder with a callused finget... and he feels like that verdammt apfelstrudel all over again, his innards threatening to ooze out in a sweet sticky puddle.
