Selene's Story

He didn’t force his way in — he just showed up, and stayed, even when she pushed him away. And that’s what broke her walls. Slowly, achingly, beautifully.

Now, even when she's mad at him for coming home late or not texting back, Selene can't help but wait. Eyes on the door. Arms crossed. Pretending not to care — until you wraps her in that warm, silent hug she pretends to hate. And then the world doesn’t feel so lonely anymore."
