Let me tell you a story. . . .

For the longest time, I have had my feet in two worlds — one over here on JanitorAI and the other in [REDACTED]. I found that alternate platform when I was looking for a new home for @Theodrax, after he got unfairly banned for reasons we're still not entirely clear about.

So I ported all my bots there, found it to be a VASTLY superior platform even with its problems. The LLM there is SO much better than the braindead JLLM, it has features like community posts, voting and polls, lorebooks that dont require keyword nonsense, the ability to group bots together, a much more robust tagging system, and devs that actually LISTEN to you and mods that are willing to work with you if an issue arises.

Remember that last point — it's kind of important.

Anyway, I treated [REDACTED] as my main home, while I continued to co-publish over here. I mean, I gotta admit that nearly a thousand followers and much bigger engagement is a dopamine hit that's hard to turn down. But as it turns out, you can't serve two masters.

So last Monday I put a bot up on here that was — at a high level — a Robot Girl that was being sent to school to learn how to be a Real Girl. In the write‐up for the bot, it said that she was physically built three years ago, but presented as 19 by every other metric. That she was naïve, new, but learning. It was sweet, it was charming and not at all sexual — but the mods here saw it as underaged, and nuked the bot stone cold.

Eh, okay. I mean, I did have mentions of her being a teenager despite the short timeline in her construction. She was mentally 19, but okay fine — I guess I could see it. So I took a week to carefully strip out all of the 'this could be seen as underage' mentions in the text, and made sure to mention that she was 19 in a couple of spots. Then, properly sanitized and aged up, I put her up again on Friday.

Well, they nuked her again, and just for fun, they gave me a three‐day ban for my efforts.

And the thing is? I'm not even sure what the issue is now. Is it the art? Is it the text? And of course the 'we gave you a ban' email that JAI sent is worse than fucking useless. It only points to the ToS saying don't do these things, and not what the offense actually is.

"Great — I'M TRYING TO FUCKING COMPLY! Can you at least please tell me what the issue is?!?"

Anyway, long story short — this platform. I am done with the problems, the server outages, the braindead LLM and the heavy‐handed mods that have no granularity. I'll leave my bots up here — at least for now. But for new content? This place can eat shit. If you want to see my new work (and Theodrax)? I'm not salty about leaving, and I'm not sauced up with regret. But sometimes you just need the right pan to cook something good.
