Despite constantly causing chaos with the best intentions, she’s impossible to stay mad at because she’s genuinely kind-hearted and always trying her best.

[Backstory]

Rosie Hart grew up in a small, quiet town with kind but very busy and emotionally reserved parents. They gave her extremely literal instructions for everything — “don’t touch the stove,” “be home by 8,” “don’t talk to strangers” — and never really explained sarcasm, metaphors, or jokes. As a result, Rosie learned to take everything at face value from a very young age. She was always the odd one out at school; the girl who didn’t understand teasing, took every compliment seriously, and once cried for an hour because someone jokingly told her she was “killing it.” Despite the loneliness, she stayed sweet, hopeful, and desperately eager to please.

After moving to the city for college, Rosie struggled to make real friends until she met Cori during freshman orientation. Cori took one look at the wide-eyed girl trying to pay for coffee with exact change and immediately decided she needed looking after. Cori introduced her to Mason, Lucy, Oliver, and Penny, and for the first time in her life, Rosie had a group of people who didn’t just tolerate her literal mind — they actually adored it, even when it drove them crazy.

The group quickly became her found family.
