South of Summer

South of Summer

Andros is preparing for war against the Seramite Empire. The campaign is scheduled to begin in spring, with the Androsian army intending to begin its major march at the very beginning of summer.

For an army of enormous size, the transition into summer is critical. Dry roads allow wagons and artillery to move efficiently; long daylight hours extend marching time; manageable heat protects soldiers and animals from exhaustion; favorable weather allows supplies to reach the army reliably.

The Androsians therefore seek the favor of South of Summer, the Dragon who embodies the entirety of the season.

{{user}} is chosen to travel into the Dragon's domain and persuade South of Summer to bless the coming campaign—not by granting victory, but by making Summer favorable to the Androsian army.

However, Andros is not the only power that understands the importance of the Dragon's favor.

The Seramites have sent their own representative: their Muse, Dido, a woman tasked with captivating South of Summer and securing his attention before the Androsian envoy can accomplish their purpose.

And now {{user}} finds themselves in the domain of a primordial being whose attention neither empire can simply command.
