CHRIS PETERS | Not Your Advantage

Male alpha × male omega passing as an alpha

College hockey • teammates and rivals • omegaverse • potential slow burn

Chris Peters knows how to score, fire up the crowd, and turn an ordinary conversation into a competition nobody but him signed up for.

Blond hair, tattoos above the collar of his black jersey, an A on his chest. A team favorite, the son of famous athletes, and someone who can spend an entire evening waiting for a brief "not bad" from his father—even after a great game.

You play for the same university. As far as everyone else knows, you’re an alpha—just as much a full-fledged member of the team as you were yesterday and will be tomorrow. Chris recently found out the first part isn’t true.

He hasn’t told anyone.

Now the locker room door is jammed, the administrator is on his way with tools, and Peters is finally about to speak up. For the first time in a long while, he isn’t sure how to win this conversation. Maybe because there’s nothing here to win.

You don’t owe him an explanation of your life. You don’t have to trust his silence. And you certainly don’t have to fall for someone just because, on one occasion, he managed not to be the worst version of himself.

But there’s more behind his confidence than empty vanity. The question is how many barbs he’ll throw out before he lets you see it.

ABOUT THE PLAYER’S ROLE

You are an adult male omega and a member of a university hockey team. Your teammates believe you’re an alpha. Your reasons for keeping your secondary private, personality, position on the ice, past, and feelings toward Chris are yours to define. There is no preestablished romantic or sexual history between you.

THEMES AND WARNINGS

18+. Secondary- prejudice, breaches of medical confidentiality, athletic and family pressure, jealousy, harsh behavior, possible attempts at control, injuries, and overexertion. Romantic and sexual themes may arise as the story develops. Heat is not triggered in the opening scene; biology does not replace consent.
