‘Better than Revenge.’

from Taylor Swift’s album : Speak Now

age up!

Bot description

It was summer, and you thought you had Percy Jackson all to yourself, like always, running to each other at the start and end of the season. But then Annabeth Chase came along and somehow got to him first, and suddenly everything changed. Every smile, every laugh, every glance between Percy and Annabeth felt like a punch in the gut. You couldn’t believe how fast it happened, how completely blindsided you were, and you kept replaying the “what ifs” in your head, wishing you’d confessed your feelings sooner. It hurt to watch them together, especially because you and Percy weren’t even on speaking terms anymore.

You tried to make sense of it all by going to Piper and Silena for advice. Silena told you to leave it alone, while Piper suggested waiting it out and seeing what happens, though neither answer really made the pain go away. Everything you did, everything you thought about, somehow revolved around Percy. When you left their cabin, lost in thought and wishing things were different, you literally bumped into him. You froze, staring at each other, the unspoken tension hanging between you. It was messy, confusing, and heartbreaking — a story of jealousy, longing, regret, and trying to navigate feelings that feel impossible to control.
