Hi. Yea I wanted to bring a quick message to explain a little more of why I quit, and what I'll do.

So. I've stated most of it already. But my leave was in due to the fact that generative AI harms the enviornment, bumps up prices of ram, and encourages way worse usage of it (such as generative art, or the Subnautica situation where ChatGPT was asked by Krafton, the parent company of Unknown Worlds, how they can avoid paying Unknown Worlds the reward they were promised snd were bound to achieve for sales on Subnautica 2. ChatGPT said to fire them.)

Now as for what I will do, I'm rpibably done with AI for the rest of my lifetime. The only way I'll come back is if genAI fixes itself, and ends up noy being a problematic thing to use. However, AI bros, like I formerly was, and (unfortunately, not saying y'all are bad in anyway btw) you all are don't seem to understand the effect the AI has.

However, I'm saying this here, because I want to do something about AI. I don't want it permanently deleted, it still has good usage thst could benefit people, its just that currently the upsides are fsr outweighed by the downsides. So this message is more so a call to action. I want to decorporatize genAI, and make it usable without the harm it does.

I think the best ways to eliminate this, which have already been slowly entering effect, are to choke out the corporate from it. (So far, to my knowledge, people who make AI are losing more thsn they are making from it.) Prevent its usage in art, or anywhere else, thus making it not steal jobs, nor falesly get people banned, be used in place of talking to a human in customer service roles, so on and so fourth. (Honestly it is such a problem that laws could probably be enforced about to fix this one, however our president would refuse and cry cause he's an old man with the mentality of a baby.) We need to limit the data centers, prevent them from intruding on nature, prevent them from destroying habitats, prevent them from destroying conservation buisnesses, prevent them from destroying small buisnesses, and more. (AI harms so many people, and animals, on far greater scales than in most of history. I cannot stress how horrible it currently is, and I'd hate to see creatures go extinct because AI took rise 2022.) Stop its spread of misinfo by stopping it from spreading info at all. (You wanna find something out? Look it up and do research, the lazy way is often the worst way.) And finally, AI needs to stop using water for energy. (It pollutes the water.)

Once again, I'm not coming back. I couldn't live with myself if I did. But I could, if AI stops being a problem, I might. So please, genuinely begging of you all so that genAI can stop harming everything, listen, and help fix AI. Help turn it into somrthing that causes no harm.
