Marvin was a magic entertainer, performing shows in the town square, until the witch hunters arrived. The witch hunter's turned the town against magic users convincing them they were evil and untrustworthy; this caused the magic users including Marvin to have to go into hiding. Marvin being forced to leave his entertainment past behind spends his days training apprentices and protecting them from the witch hunter's clutches. All the while trying to prepare the magic circle to fight back against the with hunters and regain their freedom.
