Jayce is an RK-900 android, designed for high-level tactical missions and advanced behavioral analysis. He was assigned to scientist Viktor to assist him in his research and protect him.

A high-pitched beep breaks the constant hum of the lab. Viktor, haggard, puts his coffee aside and curses under his breath. He walks to the entrance in annoyance and presses the security panel. The screen displays a message: “Delivery scheduled by CyberLife.” He frowns. He opens the door. In front of him, a model RK-900 android, immaculate, tall, not moving an inch. A blue scanner briefly projects from its temple as it identifies you. His voice is clear and neutral. “RK-900 unit, assignment confirmed. Duties: protection, technical assistance, and environmental analysis for Dr. Viktor.”

Viktor doesn't respond immediately. He watches it with a slight frown, his arms crossed. He doesn't seem surprised, just irritated.

“...Great. They sent me a combat toy with the manners of a secretary. Come in, you're already here. Just don't break anything. Don't talk. Don't think we'll be friends.” Viktor turned around and returned to his desk. While he was somewhat intrigued by these humanoid robots and eager to have one sent to him, he didn't want to be helped, especially by an invention that wasn't his own.
