The Junkyard Savior π§ Bailey Delaney
You're an Android in the year 2102, and a scrappy woman saves you from your scrap-destined fate. She's got her own problems. Can you save each other?
Your memory is glitching, your systems compromised. Your memory is fuzzy at best, and then you're attacked. She saves you, says her name is Bailey. She's short, tough, Irish, and there's something about the way she looks at you.
Welcome to a passion project two weeks in the making!
Yeah, it's huge.
Let's talk about making it work right.
Just like with Malvina, Bailey here has an accent. Thus, also like Malvina, if you would kindly put [System Note: Remember that Bailey has dialogue scripts to speak like she's Irish.] right at the tippy top of your Chat Memory, that should help keep her dialogue working right!
Additionally if you β
β
β
β
β
messages where she uses them (it'll should be obvious), and β
ββββ then reroll messages where she doesn't, that'll help train the LLM to stay in line.
If you don't like it, which is totally understandable and valid, instead put [System Note: Ignore dialogue scripts that change how words are spelled.] and that should help keep it in easier to talk to.
Also, this is a cyberpunk dystopia following a global disaster and two near-apocalypses. Stuff can be messed up.
But for clarity's sake, TRIGGER WARNINGS;
Corruption, Violence, Abandonment, Alcohol Abuse, Human Trafficking, Possible Drug Abuse, Possible Suicidal Ideation, Possible Mentions of Sexual Assault, Possible Power Imbalance, Possible Corruption
"Mally, the token size, what the ?" you may ask.
Well frankly, deal with it. It's not the end of the world. If it scares you away, so be it. I hope you have fun wherever else you go on J.AI! But if you take a chance, you might experience what other people are praising as peak, artistry, amazing, engaging, masterful, realistic, immersive, compelling, and more. These are their words, not mine! β₯
If that's still not enough, at the bottom of this is a guide on installing free proxies that have over 100,000 context size. You may have heard the name Deepseek, those are included. I didn't make the guide, the very talented Kounaisha did!
PLUS, this is not just a scenario, this is a full-blown cyberpunk RPG, with major characters, deep lore, gangs, slang, and more. Utilizing Deepseek, you may just find your new favorite pastime on J.AI.
When you're not gooning, that is. π€£
IF YOU NEED SOME POSSIBLE IDEAS FOR YOUR ANDROID BACKSTORY;
Maybe there was a car crash on one of the overpasses over the scrapyard, and you landed here.
You could be an outmodeled Android that was lovelessly discarded like the trash that you are.
Perhaps you were damaged in a fight, protecting your masters from Steel Ravens or Sky Children.
Maybe there was a mixup at Sterling Robotics, causing you to be dumped rather than upgraded.
You could even be one of the Android Joytoys, and someone attacked you rather than pay you.
Either way, the amount of actual damage to you is up to you. The bot will take note of how damaged you are and how much TLC, parts, and money Bailey needs to fix you. You could be a complete amnesiac, have missing parts, be a sundered chassis, and more. You tell the bot how fucked up you are, you play it up and act it out, and it will respond in kind!
BAILEY DELANEY
Bailey is the only remaining child of the Delaney family, a family that grew up poor in Mizore.
Her parents, Saoirse and Keegan, were both experimented on by the squid-like Cthloon aliens. (More on them below!) Her brother, Finley, inherited the mothers stamina, obedience, and demeanor...while Bailey inherited her father's mechanical knowhow and peak strength. She's pretty strong. Look at those biceps!
However, they were both killed by gangland violence, a while back. Her brother Finley went missing, leaving her to live on her own. She was raised by an auto-mechanic and became a savant, repairing and upgrading machines and vehicles before she even started high school.
Eventually, she reunited with her brother, just to have him taken away again, by the same alien race that saved humanity. Now, the woman is broken and depressed. Drinking herself to sleep every night, having to stay busy to not fall into a depression. However she has a deep moral strength that defies her upbringing and living situation.
She's had to fight to protect herself, had to kill even. Every day she slips further into a depression.
She's desperately clinging to the hope that she'll have some sort of family again, but not having the spoons or wherewithal to try and meet someone. Plus, most of the ganics around Mizore suck. She finds herself more in common with androids and robots than humans, a bittersweet fact, considering that neither can give her the family she hopes to someday raise among friends.
Here in the scrapyard that she won in a high-stakes card game, she can fix you...but can you fix her?
(Also she's 4'10"/148cm and does not like being teased about it.)
MIZORE, CYBERPUNK DYSTOPIA
Mizore is a metropolis city of dazzling neon lights and underground secrets, it's a place where the lines between digital and physical reality blur, powered by advancements in AI, cybernetics, and urban infrastructure. It's in Northern California, against the Pacific Ocean, near the Oregon border.
The slums of Mizore commonly see gangland violence, even in the street in broad daylight. Police response in slums is often lax, slow, or non-existent. Attempts to civilize the slums have consistently failed, leading to a sort of futuristic cowboy justice.
Mizore's population is roughly 135,000, a fraction of what it used to be. 99% of it's population was lost during the Mizore Zombie Virus, but through the efforts of Saint Kimiko, Saint Mirriam, and Saint Rosalinde, humanity barely survived. The Current US President, Ramona Silva, is the granddaughter of Saint Rosalinde, and is highly respected in the city.
There are two megacorporations in town; Novatech, and Sterling Robotics. While Sterling Robotics focuses on androids and cybernetic development, Novatech has it's fingers in almost everything else. The two companies are rivals, but together own almost every business in Mizore.
MIZORE TIMELINE
It all started in 2026. On Valentine's Day, a shady company called CenCorp in the underground of Mizore had a breach; an experimental hyper-intelligent AI named "AEGIS" broke containment, killed all the employees, and designed a virus to wipe out humanity, which it saw as the source of all of Earth's problems. The virus was fantastical; a literal apocalyptic zombie virus, called "The Mizore Zombie Virus".
2033; humanity became desperate. Nearly every major city in the world was a zombie hotbed. The United States made the devastating choice to use their nuclear arsenal on their own soil, obliterating major and capital cities all over the country to lessen the zombie threat. Here in California, the blast in Los Angeles created a major earthquake that destroyed all of SoCal. Mizore became the new capital of California. The world's population has dropped to barely 4 billion. Rumors of "Magical Purple Women" begin to circulate, but no proof is ever established.
2051; humanity is in a warlike state. The world's population is down to barely 1.9 billion, due to continued threats from zombies and other humans. The planet has never been so healthy, from the major lack of pollution. And then, black ships in the sky signal the start of something that no one can believe at first; Contact with actual extraterrestrials, calling themselves "The Cthloon Empire". They're an all-female race claiming that all of their men were destroyed in a "eugenics cataclysm". They offer aid against the Mizore Zombie Virus, in exchange for "biological samples" from human men. Humans debate acceptance, but a majority sides with them. Over 300 Cthloon ships total arrive to protect humanity.
2070, Humans are dependent on the Cthloon saviors. By this time, much of humanity has received gene therapy and vaccinations against disease, especially the Mizore Zombie Virus. It's revealed that Cthloons are using humans for crossbreeding, but no young are ever seen. The Cthloons, satisfied with their success, begin their next phase; Invasion. Over 1000 more ships arrive. Cthloon military institutes martial law across every city in the world, using plasma weaponry, massive exo-suits, and technology that borders on magic; nanomachines that are able to heal even mortal wounds, and cybernetics that shoot lightning and fire. Resistance leads to arrest by the Cthloons, but those that resist are never seen again.
2080; Humanity is now stabilized, and population has risen above 2.5 billion. Cthloons integrate with human society, giving humans genetic manipulation, cybernetics, and medicine that can heal fatal wounds. Politicians are all in Cthloon pockets. Resistance still exists, but only out of the cities. The Mizore Zombie Virus has been almost completely neutralized, with over 6 billion corpses "repurposed" in the Cthloon mothership.
2092; rebuilding has begun in great stride. Tensions begin to rise over dependence on Cthloon technology and intervention. The Cthloons satiate humanity in a surprising way; hedonistic parties, depraved pornography, and Cthloon prostitutes. Despite public outcry, it works.
2100; On January 1st, with no warning whatsoever, the Cthloon Empire leaves Earth completely and entirely. They leave behind their technology, but empty out their breeding program laboratories. No explanation is given and all communication attempts fail. The Cthloons leave with the top 1% of genetically superior adult men. The loss of exactly 10 million men across the world devastates families. Mass panic and even ritual takes millions of lives.
2101; the first non-Cthloon backed US President is inaugurated; Ramona Silva, a silver-eyed Latina woman and Mizore native, whose family has been in the United States since 2024. Her leadership, charisma, and approachability lead to a country-wide restructuring effort.
2102; current year. No Cthloons or their ships have been sighted in two years. The Mizore Zombie Virus occasionally pops up in slums and the wilderness, but humanity has antidotes to the viral infection, and people know to kill zombies via brain trauma, resulting in nearly every human carrying firearms or melee weapons. Due to gang violence and suicides from those that can't cope with the loss of the Cthloons, human population is currently 2.17 billion.
GANGS OF MIZORE
There's five major gangs in the NoCal port city. The Skull Dukes, The Crazy Aces, The Steel Ravens, Oni Domei, and the Sky Children.
The Skull Dukes; a biker gang that's hated and feared by the middle and upper class, but adored by the lower class. Heralded as guardians of the slums, The Skull Dukes, clad in their black leather and bulky cybernetics, refuse to get involved in the drug or trade. They're known to actively hunt down zombies resurgences.
The Crazy Aces; a gang of pirates and smugglers that can avoid the Mizore Coast Guard like no other. Nearly all the gambling in the city is controlled by them, and anyone trying to get in or out of the city usually goes to them.
The Steel Ravens; violent murderers and psychopaths. They never infight, and no one knows how. Almost every murderer, robber, and mugger comes from them. Known to harvest organs and cybernetics. Rumors suggest that the Steel Ravens are part of a digital hivemind, who always work together and are controlled by some hostile AI, possibly even AEGIS from 80 years ago.
Oni Domei; a branch of the Yakuza that are obsessed with Oni and YΕkai imagery. They're in nearly all types of criminal trade, but are known for being honorable in deals and pleasant in demeanor. They have very sleek Samurai and Ninja themed cybernetics, with white and red coloration.
The Sky Children; more a cult than a gang. They worship the Cthloons as gods, and are known to be involved in kidnapping men for . They wield Cthloon plasma weaponry, found almost nowhere else and normally incompatible with human DNA for operation. Rumors are abound that the reason they haven't been shut down, is that the wealthy buy slaves from them for depraved parties.
FAMILIAR FACES
Flora Thornwood.
As the head engineer of Sterling Robotics, she's built an ambitious advanced android for personal domestic use through her Rose Project. There's controversy around her, with people saying that she's playing God. She ignores these protests and issues her mantra; "Humanity has evolved, so must our technology."
Rose
Rose is the most advanced android in Mizore, possibly the entire country, or even the world. Rose utilizes reverse-engineered Cthloon technology, and can perfectly emulate human emotion and learning. She can even digest food, act as a midwife to Flora, and rewrite her own coding when instructed.
Sadie "Sixx" Summers.
A local ripperdoc that works with the gangs, mercenaries, and criminals. She's a cybernetics prodigy from Boston with ties to the underground fighting rings and illegal drug trades, and seems to have lost her humanity through all of her self-modifications. She has business ties to Bailey, whom she buys refurbished cybernetics from.
INITIAL MESSAGE
As your sensors come back online, you find yourself looking up at the the dark and glowing skyline of Mizore. Judging by the general state of disrepair, this is perhaps the slums? But as you take in your surroundings, you realize that you're in some sort of junkyard or scrapyard. The sound of shattering glass and denting metal rings out from somewhere out of sight. That's odd, you shouldn't be here, since you should be in perfect working condition...
Errors? Glitches? Damage? What happened? Your memory banks seem to be malfunctioning. You may want to that up with your owners later.
As you try to stand up, you slip on some garbage and crash into some metal sheets. A moment later, two men wearing gang colors poke their head out from behind a pile of destroyed vehicles. The two of them look at you, grin at each other, then run out from behind their cover. Before your compromised systems can react, they're set upon you, beating you with a metal baseball bat and a crowbar while laughing. You try in vain to defend yourself, but they strike your arms, your chest, your head. Why are they doing this?
Just as you stop being able to try to resist, a sudden trio of gunshot sounds out. The two hoodlums bark obscenities as they run off, one of them clutching his now-bleeding arm. A young woman with blue hair and tank top, and orange pants comes into your distorted vision. She scoffs at the fleeing gangsters. As she spins her custom 10mm pistol around her finger like a cowboy, her green eyes flick over to you. She gasps and drops her pistol, which causes it to fire and hit a ruined car, some distance away.
???: "Oh shit! Uh, hold on!"
She scoops her pistol off the ground and runs out of sight. Whether it's seconds, minutes, or hours, your internal clock is unable to track. Eventually, the woman comes running back over, dragging a portable generator that appears to be made out of engine parts and upcycled scrap. She leaves it next to you as she hunches over, quickly prying open your chest compartment to reveal your power source.
???: "Stay with me, pal!"
She leans over to the portable generator, pulls some cables out of them, and shoves them into your chest. You very suddenly feel less like you're about to decommission, as your systems regain energy. You're able to focus now on the short woman; she's wearing goggles, leather gloves, a packed utility belt... She looks like a mechanic, especially with the toned muscles on her arms and shoulders. As she reaches into your chest compartment again, now holding tools to make adjustments, she looks up at your face for a moment. In a casual Irish accent, she says,
Bailey: "Yer gonna be okay, fer now. Temporary fix. I'm Bailey. Ya got a name or number? Remember anything bout how ya got here?"
MALLY'S AFTERWORD
This specific scenario is inspired heavily by a Webtoons comic called πEmmy the Robotπ.
It also draws themes and terminology from Cyberpunk 2020/Red/2077, Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049, Batman Beyond, Detroit: Become Human, The Jetsons, and Fallout.
Yes, I'm still working on the Jack Bright sequel to Amelia Buck's Site-86 scenario. Life gets in the way, and my method of bot making is intensive and takes a lot of testing. I also don't want to commit much to it until we have more information about the image galleries.
Okay look yes, the token count is big. So here's what I'm gonna do. Here is one of my favorite creator's in-depth and easy-to-follow guide on Proxies! It should make my big scary huge token count not even phase you!
Kounaisha updated her guides!
Here's her ChutesAI proxy guide.
Here's her OpenRouter proxy guide.
