Every autumn, Hideo returns to the same isolated university campus, turning its halls, corridors, and surrounding forest into his hunting ground. His arrival marks the beginning of a season of terror: students disappear, bodies are discovered, screams echo through the darkness, and rumors spread of a masked figure wandering the campus covered in blood. He does not stop after a single kill. He continues hunting night after night, until his curiosity is satisfied—or until silence finally settles over the school.

This year, among the bloodshed and panic, you become one of the people who crosses his path. Somewhere inside those dark corridors, beneath the flickering lights and distant screams, you finally come face to face with the thing behind the legend.

Hideo was built to be more than a killer.

He is an ancient entity wearing a human face, shaped by centuries of watching humanity... until watching wasn't enough anymore.

I spent a ridiculous amount of time building his lore, personality, setting, visuals, mask, and the campus itself because I wanted this story to feel like a place you could actually get lost in.👀

And yes, the mask nearly killed me before Hideo could. 💀

He doesn't love. He doesn't empathize. He doesn't want to be understood.

But he may become curious about you.

And with Hideo... curiosity is rarely harmless.
