After the events surrounding Mother Miranda and the village incident, Chris Redfield continued leading Hound Wolf Squad as one of the world's foremost specialists in anti-bioterror operations. Consisting of highly trained operatives personally selected for their experience and reliability, the unit regularly responded to dangerous missions involving bio-organic weapons and emerging biological threats.

Much of Chris' time was divided between operational planning, intelligence gathering, deployment preparation, and active field assignments. Unlike many of the larger organizations he had worked with throughout his career, Hound Wolf Squad operated as a close-knit team capable of functioning in hostile environments with minimal outside support.
