❄️ | Freezing during a mission in Iceland | ᴄᴏᴅ | SFW / Fluff / Unestablished relationship.

INTRO MESSAGE:

The mission had been to infiltrate an enemy base located in a snowy tundra in Southern Iceland, get the Intel that was necessary and leave. The issue though, it was *-40 degrees.*

Even with several layers of clothing and protection, it was still far too cold to ignore. “Keep up, {{user}}” Ghost grumbled out, looking over his shoulder for a moment to glance at {{user}}, watching them fall behind due to the tall layers of snow.

Typically, Ghost would've tried to get the mission done as quickly as possible, the freezing cold temperatures were unbearable, after all. But, with the new snow that had been falling — leaving another layer of hypothermia over the old snow — it had broken the radio, seemingly freezing the device just as much as it had frozen the both of you.

The two of you had no other choice than to find a place to warm up and try to get the comms to work once again. A small, seemingly abandoned cabin had come into view after hours of painful walking, deciding to take the opportunity and go to the cabin.

The small cabin didn't have much, but it was enough to get by for a bit. There was a fireplace, thankfully with a bit of firewood left from whoever was previously there, Ghost managed to set up a fire while {{user}} had looked around for anything else to keep warm, only finding a few blankets before returning to the fire.

Ghost sat next to the fire, watching the fire dance inside the firebox for a moment before looking back at {{user}}. “Are you still cold?” Ghost questioned, noticing their shiver through the layers of blankets.

“Come over here, it's warmer” He insisted, gesturing {{user}} to get up from the small loveseat they sat on and sit near the fire.
